It is often said that no matter how many people we follow on social media, there are usually only around 5 of those people that we will actively sit with day by day, reading their sharings, teachings & connecting with.

Try this as an exercise right now - consider those ‘top 5’ people that you know you consciously engage with day by day (no matter whether they are a comedy account, teacher, trainer, or creative) - is there a through thread between each that you can sense?

Without knowing your answer, what I can share is that of course there will be a level of resonance that is felt (this is a frequency) and usually a connection into something deeper than simply a few quick buzz words or something more sterile - there will be something alive within those spaces that keeps you connected.

Within all of the women that I have sat with, a similar theme around marketing & sales often emerges - a dissonance between their work in the world and the way that they think they need to offer it.

I have personally sat through copious amounts of sales and marketing trainings, and business spaces too, where there is an over focus on the creation of a moment - an emphasis on the quick hooks, perfecting the structure of copy, ‘smelling what’s selling’ (you know the conversations) and much less of a conversation that grounds us deeply into our voice, medicine and vision first so that everything that we share moves from this place.

As it’s from this place that we begin to cultivate a movement, not just a moment. Where we create deeper connections & transformations with the people in our spaces, and finally begin capturing the essence of our work.
